Change language microsoft word1/17/2023 In essence, I seem to have two different proofing languages going on in the same document. I'm guessing this is what's going on because in the parts of the document that I created first, the word "Programme" is left alone (correctly) because that part of the document seems to be using UK English as the proofing language. It seems the pieces I have pasted in to this document refuse to change their default proofing language no matter how many times I change it for the document asĪ whole. The document is a collection of several other documents that I have cut and pasted from. UK English and US English are both listed, but the US English option is checked off. When I right click on it to select the proofing language, For example, "Programme" is being underlined even though it is being used correctly. Here's the problem: some words are still being underlined in red as misspelled when they are not. Options -> Language -> editing language set to UK English. Options -> Proofing -> dictionary language set to UK English. I need it set to UK English, and it works. I'm using Word 2010, and I'm having trouble with the default proofing language.

Ssd optimization not available1/8/2023 Make sure you review the latest version of that file for your model, and if present then make sure it's also in the version of the kernel you intend to run or find some other way to avoid the problems (like not using discard/TRIM, or a particular firmware version). In particular, many drives, including Samsung, Micron, Crucial have problems with discard/TRIM. If you have a blacklisted controller/drive combination, you are at risk until a newer kernel avoids the problem. This list is in the linux source at drivers/ata/libata-core.c. For this reason the Linux ata driver maintains a "blacklist" of certain things it shouldn't do on certain drive/firmware combinations. Some firmware versions on some SSD models have bugs that result in data corruption when used in certain ways. Adding vm.swappiness in sysctl for the kernel.Reduction of SSD write frequency via RAMDISK. It is about the employer, not the employee.Īs a teacher, Audition has been most helpful to me as it has provided objective certainty to an area filled with far too many subjective judgements. The same is true therefore of the job interview. All too often actors become so self centered and fail to realize that their performance is really about their audience, not them. In this chapter/section, Shurtleff urges all people to realize that ultimately the pressure in the job interview is on the employer and that a good prospect will immediately put the interview board at ease. It is in this chapter that this book becomes helpful to even the non actor. What I did find most illuminative and refreshing is his comments on how to behave at the job interview. Much has been written already about his twelve guideposts, and I have nothing new to add to those already glowing (and well deserved) comments. His ultimate legacy to his beloved craft is this indispensable "How To" bible. Shurtleff who spent many years as a top casting director possessed an absolute love for the brave souls who dare to place themselves on the stage. Whether one is an actor, director, writer or teacher, Shurtleff's book is simply a critical must read. Piano music for down by marian hill1/6/2023 "That's the theater geek in us," says Lloyd, who, after high school, studied music theatre at Yale University Gongol split for Manhattan and music business courses at New York University. Pretty good for Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd, childhood friends who met at Haverford High School and who named their jazzily electronic songwriting-singing-production duo after two characters from The Music Man (Marian Paroo and Harold Hill). Also this week, Marian Hill released "Back to Me," a high-profile duet with Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui. It's no surprise that with such a showcase, "Down," long outside the Top 200, jumped onto iTunes' single sales chart at No. "Play Marian Hill," is the first (and only) phrase uttered in the bright, prancing commercial, followed by a subtle robotic beat, a twitchy piano, a whistling electronic ambience, and the softly skittering voice of Samantha Gongol – from the Main Line duo's 2016 tune "Down," off their debut album, Act One. By now, you've probably seen the new, black-and-white Apple ad for its iPhone + AirPods that does as much for its product as it does the music behind it (if you haven't, check it out above). In addition, the new race, as well as the goodly heroes, were designed to be playable. Improvements in the economy and multiplayer aspects of the game were planned, and a new race was conceptualised. Though there are no plans for developing any new Dungeon Keeper games at the moment, the Bullfrog statement points out that this is always a possibility for the future. The projects that provoked Dungeon Keeper 3 's cancellation were EA's Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings games. There are currently no plans for another Dungeon Keeper game, however it remains an important franchise and there may be opportunities for us to pursue that direction in the future. At the time, Bullfrog's website explained that it had cancelled production to work on other projects:Ī third episode of the Dungeon Keeper saga was underway, but opportunities to develop new intellectual properties on new platforms such as PlayStation 2 have meant that DK3 has been put on hold. Development was cancelled in March 2000, though it was not until August of the same year that Bullfrog Productions revealed that the game had been cancelled. Though never officially announced by publisher EA, development was acknowledged by a website update from the DK3 team in early February 2000. Game designer and scriptwriter Zy Nicholson resigned from the studio in late 1999 and was replaced on the project by Ernest W. I realize the awful Dungeon Keeper mobile game probably belongs here, but I’m not ready to let go of the hope that we’ll get a decent reboot one day.High-level conceptualisation and design documentation formally began after the release of Dungeon Keeper 2 in June 1999, with a small design team drawn from the same development staff. And if you stray too far from the source material, things can get ugly. He is the founder of Bullfrog Productions and Lionhead Studios and is currently the. Type: Strategy ESRB Rating: Mature Release Date: Developer: Bullfrog Productions Publisher: Electronic Arts Dungeon Keeper allows the player to play as the evil side, building, controlling, and training your dominions. Both games were developed by Bullfrog, the first game being managed and led by Peter Molyneux (remembered for his shit fest of a series Fable). Dungeon Keeper 1 was released June 26th 1997, while its sequel was released June 30th 1999. The 2013 SimCity reboot wasn’t a bad game, but the launch was a digital rights management (DRM) disaster, just as EA’s microtransaction controversy overshadowed Star Wars Battlefront II. Dungeon Keeper 3 was in the works, until EA ran over bullfrog and cancelled it. Some series have aged badly, as proven by Duke Nukem Forever, Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, and Double Dragon Neon. All my hopes for a Speedball 2 remake, remaster, or reboot worthy of the name have been thoroughly crushed by a string of disappointing efforts. There are polarizing releases like Shenmue 3 and Star Fox Zero, and there are outright duds. It’s all too easy to sully the memory of a true classic by botching a reboot or turning out a tepid sequel. The cynical may argue that some series are better left alone. There’s also a chance we’ll get a new Timesplitters game, according to some of the original developers who have reformed the Free Radical Design game studio. A Dead Space remake is also in the works, as is a Fable reboot, and both Homeworld 3 and Skate 4 are on the horizon. But after working on the ports of the original and its sequel, Aspyr is developing a full remake for PS5 and PC, though it’s early days and there’s no release date yet. Other games that sprang to mind until I learned of fresh developments include Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which could have topped this list. Then there are spiritual successors, like Turtle Rock’s Back 4 Blood, which feels like part of the Left 4 Dead series. The Broken Sword series was revived by Kickstarter. We may never get Half-Life 3, but the virtual reality spin-off Half-Life: Alyx was great. Recent remasters for Quake, Mass Effect, Command and Conquer, Alan Wake, and sequels like Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and Ghosts n’ Goblins: Resurrection proves it can happen. The hope that old titles will one day be revived springs eternal for fans. It’s always possible that a game series is lying dormant rather than truly extinct.
